I don't use 3D very often, so I took this very architectural piece as an opportunity to apply a 3D base. It was a lot of fun exploring new techniques.

It's a small story of a guy stunned by the overwelming monster destroying a city, suddenly noticing him.

Sketchbook Pro

So I decided to try out SketchBook Pro, and I really like it!
This is a sketch I made, tomorrow I will try it some more.

Schoolwork!

With all the schoolwork and a final project in the make I have very little time for paintings.
I am working on some stuff though; this painting inspired by traditional paintings is one of my favorites at the moment, and I hope to finish it next week.

I scanned in a drawing I did some time ago, and painted over it digitally.

Really love this one. The hair and the clothes could be rendered better though. Those are defiantly things to focus on in my next piece.

Exploring techniques

I tried to use some new techniques. The main technique is called ambient occlusion. It took me about 5 tries to get to a ok result. I got some great feedback on this piece that I'm applying right now on a new painting.
