It's been a while! Here are a couple paintings

Cathedral

I don't use 3D very often, so I took this very architectural piece as an opportunity to apply a 3D base. It was a lot of fun exploring new techniques.

Future Soldier

Sulfurs Lair

Sun Warrior

A crossover between a medieval knight and a MMORPG character.
Had lots of fun making it and can't wait to try out other classes and races!

Goliath

Episode 3 in the Elder Crusade series.

Axe

I don't do characters very often, so here is a casual illustration based on typical rpg characters.

March

March - Episode 2 in Elder Crusade

Foreign

A fun illustration based on classic sci-fi settings.

Wyvern

An older painting I found and felt like uploading.
It has it's flaws but I really like the mood.

Another portrait

Really love this one. The hair and the clothes could be rendered better though. Those are defiantly things to focus on in my next piece.

Exploring techniques

I tried to use some new techniques. The main technique is called ambient occlusion. It took me about 5 tries to get to a ok result. I got some great feedback on this piece that I'm applying right now on a new painting.

Realism: photo study I

I am doing a few photo studies that I want to make photo-real. This way I hope to advance a lot in texturing and refining my paintings.

Another one is in the make, and with video timelapse!
